Biography

After graduating with his BS in 1981, Brian Cox went into the aerospace industry. Shortly thereafter he turned to research and development in the medical device industry where he has spent much of his career since. He has technical expertise in catheters, implant devices and instruments. He is co-founder and member of the Board of Directors for MicroVention, Inc., a company developing innovative endovascular therapeutic devices for vascular disease conditions. He currently serves as Director of Technology and Business Development for the company. He has made significant contributions in the area of medical devices and holds six US patents.
